Charlie at the World Series

Dave, Charlie, and I attended the first game in the Women's College World Series held here in OKC. We also took Charlie last year. Here are pictures for comparison:

Last year


It was much easier to watch the game last year because Charlie wasn't mobile. This year, he just wanted to climb up and down the stairs and play games with the people around us. He made several friends including a girl about his age sitting a few rows in front of us. Charlie liked to laugh really loudly to get her attention. Then they would mimic each other and wave. It was funny.

It was touch-and-go there for a while, and I wasn't sure we'd make it much past the first inning, but we lasted until the fifth. It was a good night--we all got a workout!
